Jerry Banks to Lead Atlanta Acquisitions as Dilweg Accelerates Growth Across the Southeast
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Feb. 18, 2026) – Dilweg, a commercial real estate investment firm based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, announced today that Jerry Banks has expanded his role to lead acquisition efforts in the Atlanta market, reinforcing the firm’s continued focus on growth across the Southeast.
In this expanded role, Banks will lead Dilweg’s acquisition initiatives in Atlanta while continuing to support asset enhancement efforts across the firm’s existing portfolio. He will work closely with Zach Ashton, Partner & Managing Director of Acquisitions, as Dilweg evaluates new investment opportunities throughout the Southeast, with Atlanta remaining a key strategic market for the firm.
“Atlanta continues to be a core market for Dilweg, and Jerry’s leadership there has been instrumental,” said Anthony Dilweg, CEO of Dilweg. “As we pursue new investment opportunities across the Southeast, Jerry brings deep market knowledge, trusted broker relationships, and a proven track record of execution that will strengthen our acquisition efforts in Atlanta.”
Banks has served as Managing Director of Asset Enhancement at Dilweg since 2015, leading value creation initiatives across the firm’s Atlanta office portfolio. During his tenure, he has supported the acquisition of nine Atlanta properties totaling approximately $400 million and 3.2 million square feet. He has executed more than 300 lease transactions totaling over 2.3 million square feet and overseen more than $50 million in renovation and repositioning capital that increased rents by more than 25 percent.
“I’m excited to take on this expanded role and help lead Dilweg’s acquisition efforts in Atlanta,” said Banks. “Atlanta continues to offer compelling opportunities, and I look forward to working closely with Zach and the broader team as we grow our footprint in the market and across the Southeast.”
